More KyoukoXRen fanart . I wanted to draw the positions here more than anything else really... and I had a lot of fun with it, so I hope that you like it! I think that Ren turned out actually looking like himself too, which is exciting for me!!
I didn't plan for it to be inspired by any culture in particular. I just let the dress draw itself. It needed some detailing, so I added it as needed, lol, but I guess that it could be arabic...I didn't really think about it . Glad you like it though!!!
I have a few, but most of them aren't for Skip Beat . The next one that I will post on here probably will be, though . There is a contest that a group on Facebook is doing, and the theme is 'Perfect Date', so that is what I am working on now--Ren and Kyouko's perfect date, lol. I am excited about it, but it isn't as mushy as it probably should be. Maybe I will do another one that is better afterwards, but the one I am working on right now is already in the coloring stages, so it's probably the one I will submit to the contest. I wont be able to finish it until tomorrow at the earliest, though. I do a lot of dance on the side, and Wednesdays are hard for me. What about you? Any ideas for me?? I would love to hear them!
No! Actually I have thought about doing something like that...and Shou was going to be another student in the class, lol, I just never got around to it . I like the really fantasy oriented things right now....maybe I should draw them as merpeople lol.
lol. They could be in a circus! Ren is the lion tamer, Sho is the lion being forced to to Ren's bidding, and Kyouko is the audience who is thrilled to see Shou all upset about being controlled by Ren. lol.
Thank you!!! I used copic markers. They are REALLY expensive, but totally worth it . I love colored pencil too, though...so I might use that sometime soon and see how they can work together...but there is already so much versatility with copics, that the only real advantage to pencils is in the fine details, and copics aren't really that bad even then.
Aw, thanks so much!! I am working on it!! I am always happy to draw Ren and Kyouko, though, because it makes me so happy to see them together!! Makes drawing them easy!! I have another one in the works now that I am excited about.
Thanks!!! I hope that the contest entry will be as well received as this one! I am a little worried, though, because it isn't as mushy a picture lol. The expressions aren't quite as ...uh....lovey?? which maybe I should have reconsidered...I don't know...we will see, though, maybe that's okay??
Actually, I didn't use pencils for anything but the sketch. The coloring was all done in Copic markers, which I highly recommend! They are such amazing tools and they really add depth to anything you color . You should give them a try!! They are a little expensive, though.
No problem!! I'm always happy to help!! And, yea, when it comes to details, pencils can be a big help, but the don't always have the vibrancy that you want, you know?? They can come out muted...so I try to use the copics, but it can get difficult when you need a really fine tip.

lol yah, like any other technique pencils or copic markers all of them needs some skills to master them on paper xD Me, myself, I prefer pencils for the details, but its really hard for me to color large spaces or backgrounds.
